About
The project, titled "Flocking Dynamics," is an educational and interactive simulation focused on teaching the concept of emergent phenomena through the behaviors of animal flocking, such as sheep, ducks, and bats. Leveraging Unity as the primary development tool, the project creates immersive 3D simulations that allow users to observe and manipulate virtual environments, enhancing their understanding of how individual behaviors can lead to complex group dynamics without centralized control. By implementing the PAIR-C framework (Pattern, Agents, Interactions, Relations, Causal relations), the project enables users to visualize agent interactions and deepens their understanding of the underlying properties and causal mechanisms of flocking behaviors. Through a blend of educational content and gaming elements, including NPCs, the project promotes active learning and a deeper comprehension of complex systems. Future improvements include enhancing feedback systems, expanding environments, and adding multiplayer and mobile compatibility, which will further enrich the learning experience and make the simulation more versatile.
