About

The "EpiSimulator" project is an educational tool designed to teach students about the complexities of epidemic spread and the impact of public health measures. Developed using NetLogo, this interactive simulation allows users to manipulate various parameters such as transmission rates, quarantine measures, and vaccination effectiveness to observe real-time effects on the spread of a virus. The simulator provides data visualizations that track the progression of an epidemic, helping users understand concepts like exponential growth and the importance of interventions. The project is designed for K-12 education and public health awareness, offering an engaging way to explore the dynamics of disease transmission and control. Future improvements include enhancing the user interface, incorporating more detailed user feedback, and expanding the educational scenarios offered.
